A fixed data allowance that resets at the start of each billing cycle, common on budget plans priced below unlimited service. Once the quota is spent, service either stops until the reset or drops to a reduced speed. Unused gigabytes rarely roll over. Header downloads and failed article requests count toward the total, so measured usage runs above the size of finished files.
