A lower-priority account used to fetch what the primary cannot supply, usually a small block on a different backbone. Choosing one on the same backbone as the primary adds nothing, since both draw from the same spool and will be missing the same articles. Independent backbones are few, so the useful question is which one a brand actually runs on.
